Becoming a Logos Recipient
“Target” Recipients
The “target” group which The Logos Project looks to support is established Christian leaders who have active, regular preaching or teaching ministries, and who have at least a four year, post-secondary degree. Established ministries should be known and recognized by others, and should have been in progress for some time that the nature of their calling, their work, and the resulting fruit are apparent to all. We have assisted others without a full slate of credentials, but this is the primary focus and intention of The Logos Project.
The Process
Those interested in receiving Logos through this outreach need to do the following:
Submit a typed, two page statement in English, describing:
Your calling
Your ministry to date
Any post-secondary training you have received (ministry related or otherwise)
What have been the highlights of your ministry? (and maybe a low point or two?)
Pay the nominal fee (this only helps offset local costs - the actual Logos and other costs far exceed this):
Ethiopia: 500 EBirr
Kenya: 2,000 KSh
Sudan: 6,600 SDG
Other countries: to yet be determined.
References: you will be asked to supply the names and contact information for two people in oversight over you, for confirmation of your statements and of the validity of your ministry.
You will also be asked to make a firm commitment to attend the full day of training, with Western promptness (dates and locations to be announced). (If this is not possible, we ask that you wait to receive Logos until this commitment can be made and fulfilled.)
All of the above are due by four weeks before the installation date, to the email address HERE; but the fee to the local facilitator at the first installation.
The above are waived for senior denominational leaders (i.e. executive leaders, bishops, etc.), at the discretion of The Logos Project.
See the Contact page to enquire further or to submit the application information.
Hosting a Logos Session
For those wishing to host a Logos installation and training sequence, responsibilities include communicating with recipients and arranging various logistics. Please be in touch HERE for more specific information.
